Theatre Projector & Sound (Senior)

Setting up the projector

1. Get the two remotes (usually locked in the control room)
2. Make sure the projector is on. The switch is near the HDMI port on the wall
3. Point the projector remote (bigger one) directly at the projector and press the power button. This might take a few tries, the green light will flash when successful.
4. Use the smaller remote to bring down the screen, press the middle button to make the screen stop.
5. Plug your laptop in with the HDMI cable. If you require an adapter please let IT know what adapter you need so we can make sure we have the correct one.

Getting audio working

1. Go to the control room
2. Make sure the 2 switches on the left side are on - Labelled 'Sound Power'
3. Make sure the power to the little black box is also on
4. Turn the amplifier 'PLX1104' on
5. Make sure the link box from the projector to the audio table is on
6. Bring the slider labelled 'AUX' up (second one in from the right)
7. Slowly bring the 'Main PA' sliders up to the volume you require.
